Basketball Recap: Franklin Extends Winning Streak to Two

Brookville came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Franklin, but Kai Cook wouldn't allow it. The Franklin Wildcats skirted past the Brookville Blue Devils 50-48 thanks in part to Cook, who posted 22 points and five steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Franklin's points.

Another player making a difference was Tito Harrison, who put up four points and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Brookville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Franklin Wildcats take on the Edgewood Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season. As for Brookville, they will head out to challenge Carlisle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
