Soccer Game Preview: Greenville Tech Charter vs. Mountain View Prep

The Greenville Tech Charter Warriors will face off against the Mountain View Prep Stars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View Prep took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenville Tech Charter, who comes in off a win.

Greenville Tech Charter proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Landrum by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Greenville Tech Charter were the better team in the second half.

Ana Pereira and Emmeline Horton scored both of Greenville Tech Charter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mountain View Prep's offense. They lost 4-0 to Greenville Tech Charter back in March.

Greenville Tech Charter is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those eight contests. As for Mountain View Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Greenville Tech Charter's way against Mountain View Prep in their previous matchup back in March, as Greenville Tech Charter made off with a 4-0 victory.
