Basketball Recap: Paul Cuffee Comes Up Short

Paul Cuffee were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 27-22 to the Achievement First Providence Falcons.

Paul Cuffee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Achievement First Providence, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paul Cuffee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mt. Pleasant at 5:30 p.m. on February 9. As for Achievement First Providence, they will face off against North Providence at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
