Softball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Takes a Loss

Mishawaka Marian lost against New Prairie on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mishawaka Marian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Milligan, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Mishawaka Marian's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for New Prairie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Mishawaka Marian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Hammond Morton on the 10th. As for New Prairie, they have also already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Boone Grove on the 12th.
