Soccer Recap: Munford Extends Winning Streak to Three

Munford made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dyersburg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Munford Cougars were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Dyersburg Trojans on Thursday. Eli Magan was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory (which was Munford's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Dyersburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-2.

Looking ahead, Munford will take on Memphis Rise Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Dyersburg will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dyer County at 5:30 p.m. on March 24th.
