Volleyball Game Preview: Elysian Fields Yellowjackets vs. Waskom Wildcats + How To Watch

The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets will venture away from home to challenge the Waskom Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Elysian Fields came up short against Beckville on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Waskom had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Gary 3-0 on Friday. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19th (when they won 3-0).

Waskom's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 16-26. As for Elysian Fields, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 6-23 record this season.

Elysian Fields beat Waskom 3-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
