Coventry came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bolton Bulldogs 16-3. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coventry's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bolton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

As of now, neither Coventry nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
