Softball Preview: Monroe and Shaw Meet Again in Quick Rematch

For the second straight game, Monroe will face off against Shaw. The Tornadoes are taking a road trip to square off against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Shaw will come in with three straight wins.

Monroe lost 16-3 to Shaw on Tuesday.

Even though they lost, Monroe took advantage of their speed and finished the game with five stolen bases. They have not posted that many stolen bases since the 11th, when they snagged seven.

The victory improved Shaw's record to 5-3. As for Monroe, they have now lost three of their last four games at home. That's taken a bite out of their 6-5 record this season.
