Fabens lost to Chaparral back in February of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Lobos by a score of 12-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Andrea Alvarado was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Yamilet Nunez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Fabens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 1.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.

Fabens' record now sits at 3-7. As for Chaparral, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Fabens wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 32-6 victory against Bowie on the 24th. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-2 loss against Gadsden on the 24th.
