Baseball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lampasas Badgers, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Tuesday.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Lampasas, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-1.

After both having extra time off, Taylor and Jarrell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Lampasas will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burnet at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th.
