Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Glenn

Glenn proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 33) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Liberty Hill Panthers out 63-61. The win was all the more spectacular given the Grizzlies' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Panthers are ranked 78th).

The victory was the fourth in a row for Glenn, bringing their record for this year to 7-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Liberty Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Glenn will finish 2024 at home by hosting Texas Lions HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill and Bastrop will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
