Softball Recap: Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lake Arthur, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lake Arthur this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 back in March.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lake Arthur, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 defeat against Acadiana on the 14th. As for Lake Arthur, they will welcome Homer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
