Basketball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Classical Academy lost against Vasquez back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trinity Classical Academy Knights were beaten by the Vasquez Mustangs 93-53. The Knights were down 82-47 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Vasquez found their leader in sophomore Noah Rowley, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 24 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Rowley. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Wyganowski, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Trinity Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Vasquez, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Classical Academy and Hueneme will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Trinity Classical Academy is facing Hueneme at the right time seeing as Hueneme is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Vasquez, they will challenge Valley Torah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
