Volleyball Recap: Griswold Now 4-1 over Last Five Games + How To Watch

Griswold won the last time they faced Law and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolverines walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lawmen.

Griswold had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-18, 25-12, 25-22.

Griswold can attribute much of their success to Sophie Geer, who had 18 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Geer a new career-high.

Griswold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Griswold is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Law, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Griswold will welcome Bulkeley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Law, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Career Magnet at 5:15 p.m.
