After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Jones, Brookhaven was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Pike Jaguars an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Brookhaven is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four contests. As for North Pike, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
