Basketball Recap: Thornridge Takes a Loss

Thornridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete-Monee Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while the Warriors are ranked 108th).

Thornridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Crete-Monee, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

Thornridge will challenge Thornton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crete-Monee has already played their next game (against Brother Rice), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
