Softball Recap: Pierce City Eagles vs. Lockwood Tigers

Pierce City had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-10 to make it four. They came up short against the Lockwood Tigers, falling 13-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Lockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

For Lockwood's part, Kallie Griffin was a major factor while hitting and pitching.
