Calloway County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fulton County Pilots 48-14. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lakers considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Matthew Briedwell threw for 39 yards and one touchdown. Jaydynn Darcus was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Logan Smith rushed for 321 yards and six scores on only 15 carries.

Calloway County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fulton County, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calloway County will square off against Ballard Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fulton County, they will face off against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
