Bartlett snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Bartlett Panthers vs. Link Academy Lions
It was a good run, but the Bartlett Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Link Academy by a score of 43-41.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zoey Rixter, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Rixter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Williams, who scored 12 points.
Bartlett's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10. As for Link Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Bartlett and Collierville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Collierville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Bartlett likes a good challenge. As for Link Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chadwick at 6:00 p.m. on February 16th.
