Baseball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas' Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

St. Thomas Aquinas suffered their biggest defeat since April 3rd on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to the Edison Eagles. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Edison, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

St. Thomas Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they have already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Carteret on the 15th.
