St. Mary's Prep came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 22 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Troy Colts. That's more bragging rights for the Eaglets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Mary's Prep easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14.

Avery Kapeller paced St. Mary's Prep's offense, picking up nine kills. Kapeller got some help from Lindsey Schwegman and her 18 assists. Kapeller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Mary's Prep's record now sits at 31-6-4. As for Troy, they dropped their record down to 1-35 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

St. Mary's Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rochester on the 28th. Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
