Mishawaka has gone 8-2 against Concord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Cavemen will host the Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Mishawaka gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over Plymouth. Considering the Cavemen have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Concord hadn't done well against Northridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Minutemen came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 12-8. That's two games straight that the Minutemen have won by exactly four runs.

Concord let Cassi Reames and Janessa Bennett run wild. Reames went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI, while Bennett went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI. Those three doubles gave Bennett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Serina Masuth, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Concord kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.

Mishawaka pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Everything went Mishawaka's way against Concord in their previous meeting back in April, as Mishawaka made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Cavemen repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
