Basketball Game Preview: Dinwiddie Generals vs. Chancellor Chargers

Dinwiddie is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since February 8, 2024 on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over Meadowbrook. The Generals pushed the score to 52-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Monarchs cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dinwiddie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carolina Berry, who posted 18 points. Madison Batts was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Meanwhile, Chancellor had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Foxes 56-28. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 28 points or more this season.

Chancellor pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Dinwiddie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
