It's playoff time, and Covenant Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Sparta Spartans to the tune of 62-32 on Thursday. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Covenant Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points over those games. The loss snapped Sparta's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-12 record.

Looking ahead, Covenant Christian will face off against Marshall on Tuesday. Marshall will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Covenant Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sparta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-32 defeat against Catholic Central on the 6th.
