Solon barely beat North Royalton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets never let the Bears get on the board and left with  a   3-0  victory  on Tuesday. Give Solon's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.
They hit North Royalton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Rowan Hirsh,  Jake Ingerman,  and  Malec Jirari.
Solon pushed their record up to 9-1 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero  goals over those three  games. As for North Royalton, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-2-1.
 Solon and North Royalton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Comets will  take on  Cleveland Heights  at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday with a big rank  advantage  (56 vs. 215). Meanwhile,  North Royalton (ranked 15th) will meet Walsh Jesuit (ranked 74th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
