Basketball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Takes a Loss

TEACH Homeschool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors 75-19. The Beach Breakers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-5.

When it comes to explaining why TEACH Homeschool lost, don't look at Aiden Dickson. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Cooper, who put up seven points.

Nathan Teti went supernova for Norfolk Christian, putting up 21 points along with seven boards and five steals. Teti has become a key player for Norfolk Christian: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Micah Liu, who had 15 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

TEACH Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Norfolk Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

TEACH Homeschool and Greenbrier Christian Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Norfolk Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hampton Roads Academy at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
