Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Hanover-Horton

Hanover-Horton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over the Grass Lake Warriors. The win was all the more spectacular given the Comets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd in Michigan, while the Warriors are ranked 114th in Michigan).

Hanover-Horton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. As for Grass Lake, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 21-2.
