Softball Recap: Union County Patriots vs. Connersville Spartans
After flying high against Cambridge City Lincoln last Tuesday, Union County came back down to earth. The Union County Patriots fell just short of the Connersville Spartans by a score of 13-11 on Saturday. On Connersville's side, Bre Brock and Rayleigh Bresher did most of the damage at the plate: Brock scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, while Bresher went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base.
