Benton's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cameron Dragons a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Cardinals have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Benton's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Cameron, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-15.

Coming up, Benton will welcome Lawson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawson has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.88 runs per game on average), something Benton will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cameron, they will square off against Lathrop at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
