ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - After two lead changes,
St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, Fla.) took the lead for the win when
Derrick Lee ran for a touchdown with less than a minute remaining in the fifth quarter and held on to defeat
St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, Fla.) 34-28 on Saturday.
The Flashes led 21-7 at halftime, but the Spartans regained the lead on a touchdown with under a minute left in the fourth.
St. Joseph Academy saw its 14-point halftime lead fall to seven entering the fourth.
St. Johns Country Day came in giving up 10.6 points per game this season. SJCD struggled against St. Joseph Academy's offense, which entered the game scoring 17.0 points per game.
