Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie Ridge). They put the hurt on the Woodstock Blue Streaks with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. It was an even better day for Ava Gertz as she scored three goals for her team.

Prairie Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Woodstock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Prairie Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Grant Community on the 10th. As for Woodstock, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Marengo on the 9th.
