Basketball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Lenoir City Panthers

The White County Warriors will face off against the Lenoir City Panthers on Saturday. White County is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

White County saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They managed a 64-58 win over Livingston Academy. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Wildcats are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

White County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keely Mullins out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, Mullins now owns an excellent 50% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Jones, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lenoir City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 57-51 to Heritage.

Lenoir City's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for White County, their win bumped their record up to 31-3.
