Oak Grove is a perfect 5-0 against Center since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Oak Grove will head out to challenge Center at 4:30 p.m. Neither Oak Grove nor Center posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Oak Grove managed to slip by Summit Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Oak Grove came up short against Summit Christian Academy on Wednesday, falling 12-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Center didn't have quite enough to beat Van Horn on Monday and fell 4-2. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Luke Leslie put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. Leslie is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Leslie wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Eubanks, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Tyree Washington also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Center fell to 3-1. As for Oak Grove, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Oak Grove took their victory against Center when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 23-6. Does Oak Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Center turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
