Soccer Recap: Coffee Takes a Loss

Coffee pushed their score to six the last time they played Jeff Davis, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Coffee Trojans fell just short of the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Coffee's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jeff Davis, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coffee will face off against Thomas County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Coffee their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Jeff Davis, they will take on Appling County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jeff Davis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
