Greenville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Litchfield Purple Panthers. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
