Ella Wetzel gave up the fewest walks she has since back in March on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
