Spencerville won against Hardin Northern on Friday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bearcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Perry Commodores, sneaking past 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Bearcats, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Spencerville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Perry, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.
