Softball Recap: Seminole Ridge Hawks vs. Dwyer Panthers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seminole Ridge had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Dwyer Panthers. The victory was nothing new for Seminole Ridge as they're now sitting on three straight.

Isabella Martinez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Grace Rawn, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Maya Moro, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
