If Hickory wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grassfield, they should've done a better job of containing Amaya Fisher. The Grassfield Grizzlies blew past the Hickory Hawks 75-47 on Friday thanks in part to Fisher, who went 10-for-15 en route to 22 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.
Lauren Priester was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 13 points and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Grassfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Hickory, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As for Hickory, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian River will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hickory surely won't give up without a fight.
