Football Game Preview: Conant vs. Palatine

After two weeks on the road, Conant is heading back home. On Friday they take on Palatine at 7:30 PM. Conant will be strutting in after a victory while Palatine will be stumbling in from a loss.

Conant might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Fremd 17-14. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Meanwhile, Palatine might have drawn first blood against Schaumburg last Friday, but it was Schaumburg who got the last laugh. Palatine had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 29-30 to Schaumburg. Palatine's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it four losses in a row.
