Glenn had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Tippecanoe Valley on Friday. The Falcons blew past the Vikings 14-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Benwell, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew King, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Glenn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Looking ahead, Glenn will be playing in front of their home fans against South Bend Career Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Trailblazers at the right time seeing as the Trailblazers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they have already played their next game, a 15-10 defeat against Fairfield on the 17th.
