Basketball Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Elyria Pioneers, falling 81-41. The Middies haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Midview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Elyria, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midview will head out to take on Olmsted Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elyria, they will head out on the road to challenge Berea-Midpark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
