After a string of three wins, Mayfield's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a blow against the Graves County Eagles, falling 65-32. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st in Kentucky, while the Eagles are ranked 14th in Kentucky).

Mayfield's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Graves County, the victory (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

As of now, neither Mayfield nor Graves County have any future games scheduled.
