Canton had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hartland Eagles on Thursday. This was payback for the Cobras, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Canton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hartland scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 19-25, 25-23.

Canton's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-15. As for Hartland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Canton is set to square off against their familiar foe Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hartland will face off against rival Plymouth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
