Basketball Game Preview: Middleton Tigers vs. Newsome Wolves

Middleton is 0-4 against Newsome since December of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Middleton Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Newsome Wolves at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Middleton had to suffer through a 68-36 loss at the hands of Spoto.

Meanwhile, Newsome unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 68-57 to Lake Gibson. The Wolves were up 36-22 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Middleton's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Newsome, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-2.

Middleton took a serious blow against Newsome when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 65-36. Can Middleton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
