 Oak Park-River Forest is 5-0 against Fenwick since May of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies will be playing at home against the Fenwick Friars at 4:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Fenwick is hoping to do  on Thursday what Proviso West couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Oak Park-River Forest's winning streak, which now stands at seven games. Everything went Oak Park-River Forest's way against Proviso West as Oak Park-River Forest made off with  a  14-1 victory.
  Alex Kahn made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Kahn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Kahn was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Julia Henderson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.  Sofia Ayala was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Fenwick owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They were the clear victor by  a  7-0 margin over Ridgewood.
 Like Oak Park-River Forest, Fenwick also got a great game from a two-way player:  Sophie Stone. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 12 over 6.2 innings pitched. Stone was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Gabriella Simon and  Ellie Kolb did most of the damage at the plate:  Simon  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Kolb  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Mary Barganski, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Oak Park-River Forest has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record  this season. As for Fenwick, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
 Thursday's   match will be a test for both team's pitchers. Oak Park-River Forest hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .368. However, it's not like Fenwick struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
