Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Cardinals vs. Lakeland Vikings

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Lakeland recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lincoln Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lakeland Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Lincoln has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 71-41 loss at the hands of Butler.

Meanwhile, Lakeland lost 43-22 to Leeton on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Lincoln skirted past Lakeland 42-40 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does Lakeland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
