Basketball Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Spring Valley Tigers came up short against the Huntington Highlanders and fell 68-59. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 179th in New York, while the Highlanders are ranked 24th in West Virginia).

Spring Valley now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Huntington, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
