Football Recap: Greeley Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Greeley Central's offense. They took a blow against the Aurora Central Trojans on Thursday, falling 41-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Leading Aurora Central to victory were Markell Perkins and Damian Ramirez. Perkins rushed for 143 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, while Ramirez rushed for 137 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards Perkins has posted since back in September of 2024.

Greeley Central dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Aurora Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Greeley Central will take on Greeley West at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Aurora Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 60-0 win against Hinkley on the 25th.
