Yucca Valley came out on top against Coachella Valley on Thursday thanks in part to Tayla Monroy's efforts. Monroy wasn't messing around, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The contest was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Monroy and Yucca Valley will venture away from home to challenge Twentynine Palms at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
